Some Thoughts - Football

This is a sad state of affairs in the BPL. Tottenham are a top club struggling after the departure of Robbie Keane and Berbatov. While both players wanted to leave for greener pastures (Keane to Liverpool and Berbatov to ManU), it remains a mystery why they were sold off without the purchase of any reknowned striker. Tottenham are at the moment a team of midfielders who are not able to gel, and that, coupled with a low morale over the manner of Keane and Berbatov's departures has combined to resign them to the bottom of the premier league. Its a shock that they are there, but its a sad fact, all the same.

Now, with the likes of Bentley and Pavlyuchenko (from Zenit St. Petersburg) and Corluka and Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Jenas, I do believe that they are just about to turn the corner. Hopefully, by Christmas, the lights at White Hart Lane would be burning brighter. Tottenham is a great club with a proud history and the players need to persevere to turn around the season.

All the best guys!
