In the Name of the Father

Well, G-day has come and gone. And the score is a 690. Not too great, not too low. Neither here, nor there :D Its the kind of score that tempts you to think of retaking the GMAT again, and yet is a pretty reasonable addition to a pretty good profile.

For now, Im going to sit back and relax. This is a huge day in my life, for the fact that I have managed to get past a mental hurdle that has been in my way for a very long time. And that is actually taking the GMAT and putting up a score on the board. Probably I don't even realize the magnitude of my actions today, but its a huge weight off my shoulders.

All in all, I cannot complain much. The score is in the same range I was getting in practice. Additionally, the only top school I was looking at was Wharton. While Wharton seems a distant possibility now, my score should be good enough for the rest of the schools that are in my target list. Combined with my international workex, decent acads and extra-curriculars, I believe I am a strong candidate.

Now, its a matter of convincing the ad-coms ;)
