The Audacity of Hope

I am not talking about a blind optimism of the kinds that says poverty will be removed, roads will improve, people will have drinking water, all without working hard for India. I am talking about the hope of seeing all kids going to school, women having a safe life and equal opportunities, a good honest life in India. To hope when all seems lost is difficult. But one must hope. One must work towards that hope. And therefore, I talk about the audacity of hope.

(Reworded from Barack Obama's Speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2004.)

isnt it hope that keeps people going?
and working towards that hope is what makes things happen....
and like they say -
he who does not hope to win has already lost !!
